Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the planning, logistics, and execution of a variety of events, ensuring exceptional quality and service.
* Manage on-site event operations, including staff coordination, set-up, service, and breakdown.
* Liaise with clients, venue representatives, and suppliers to ensure all operational requirements are met.
* Lead and motivate a team of event staff, ensuring high standards of professionalism and efficiency.
* Monitor event budgets, staffing costs, and resource allocation to optimize profitability.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any operational challenges that arise before or during events.
* Assist in recruitment, training, and development of the event operations team.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in event operations, catering, or hospitality management.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing event requirements.
* Exceptional communication and client-facing skills.
* Knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices in event catering.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as required by event schedules.
