As Contract Executive you will be supporting the management of a portfolio of contracts and grants, monitoring these against budget and ensuring providers deliver against all business plan objectives.
You will be expected to achieve high levels of supplier satisfaction with the relationship management standard delivered by the Technology and Change Team, and continually improve Technology and Change services by supporting, identifying, and leveraging new opportunities.
You will also be responsible for maintaining contract documentation, invoice tracking, risk management and the workflows/processes that form contract administration at MaPS.

In this role you will be responsible for the following;
* Effectively supporting the management of a portfolio of contracts and grants, monitoring these against budget and ensuring providers deliver against all business plan objectives.
* To achieve high levels of supplier satisfaction with the relationship management standard delivered by the Technology and Change Team.
* To continually improve Technology and Change services by supporting, identifying, and leveraging new opportunities.
* Responsible for maintaining contract documentation, invoice tracking, risk management and the workflows/processes that form contract administration at MaPS.
* Provide effective day-to-day management of contracts, ensuring providers deliver against budget, forecasts, and all business plan objectives.
* Responsible for processes and tasks relating to technology contracts, e.g. cost tracking, governance approvals, etc
* Ensuring contractual compliance and service delivery align with organisational and other standards.
* Work closely with the MaPS Commercial team daily if any escalations or specialist advice is required.
* Support management of relationships with existing supply chains, ensuring efficient achievement of agreed objectives and acting as a MaPS’s representative with that organisation.
* Track spending according to budget, minimising variance and compliantly capturing financials. Ensure timely and accurate payment aligned with agreement schedules.
* Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual review cycles. Analysing and reporting on performance against targets.
* Support the wider T&C Leadership Team in delivering strategic responsibilities.
* Support market engagement and business development activity to ensure a healthy and competitive market of suppliers and potential suppliers.
* Innovate where necessary to support commercial and delivery objectives, drive more value from the relationship and streamline the processes involved.
* Support identification of new processes and procedures to ensure continued process improvement, driving best practice contract management.
* Analysis of data and evidence from various sources/activities, including co-design, current supplier performance, horizon scanning, internal/external research, market evaluation, process performance and service evaluation.
Skills and experience:
* Experience in change management, including contractual change control and the associated impacts.
* Knowledge of contract and performance levers for contract maximisation and benefit realisation.
* Strong commercial awareness, including negotiating commercial decisions, contracts and supply chain management focusing on value for money.
* Experience in budget management, including forecasting and financial reporting.
* Experience in identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiencies and implementing processes that promote productivity and quality, with strong analytical skills.
* Ability to manage risks and issues, ensuring these inform decision making.
* Excellent relationship management skills
* Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills. Can challenge constructively and drive fundamental shifts in existing beliefs and behaviours to deliver positive change.
* Strong stakeholder management, with expertise in influencing senior stakeholders, both internally and
* Ability to lead complex meetings and confidently work with internal and external colleagues and senior stakeholders to generate and develop solutions.
