Lakeside Healthcare at Yaxley is part of Lakeside Healthcare, which serves the healthcare needs across three counties Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. We are a well-established semi-rural surgery with a list size of over 20,000. We usually achieve full QOF points, and have been awarded the RCGP Quality Practice Award twice. Job responsibilities
We are an innovative and forward-thinking GMS practice with a Good CQC rating and a strong track record of delivering high-quality care to our patients. Serving over 20,000 registered patients with a growing list, we have a well-established team that includes six partners, and an extensive multidisciplinary practice team, including Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Care Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacist, Nurses and HCA as well as supportive Reception, Administration and Managerial teams. Our team also includes a fantastic group of well-integrated Primary Care Network (PCN) staff, such as Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, First Contact MSK Practitioners, Health and Wellbeing Coaches, Social Prescribers and Care-Coordinators.
We are proud to have been awarded the Quality Practice Award (QPA) twice and consistently achieve full QOF points wherever possible. We receive excellent patient feedback and score well on national patient surveys. We are passionate about both postgraduate and undergraduate training and are involved with GP registrar education and training Cambridge Medical Students.
We prioritize telephone triage to streamline same day access to our Doctors and Practitioners and provide effective, patient-centered care, with consistently good feedback regarding access.
Using SystmOne, Ardens templates, AccuRx and Anima we work collaboratively across our practice team to ensure sustainable, innovative, and efficient service delivery.

Role Summary
As a GP Partner, you will combine clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities. You will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care, contributing to practice management and shaping the strategic direction of the practice. The role also involves active participation in the teaching and training of healthcare professionals and the development of innovative healthcare initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
* Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with triage first principles via telephone, online platform, in-person and home visits, ensuring a timely and effective response to patient needs.
* Provide holistic care, managing acute and chronic conditions, preventative health and health promotion.
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including PCN staff, to deliver seamless, integrated care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the SystmOne clinical system.
Leadership and Management
* Take on specific clinical and managerial areas of responsibility as agreed with the partnership team.
* Collaborate with the Practice Manager (PM) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to oversee operational, financial, and strategic objectives.
* Engage actively with the central team, other partner sites and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared learning across the organisation.
* Support the ongoing development of the practice by contributing to strategic planning and service innovation.
Teaching and Training
* Actively participate in the teaching, mentoring and training of medical students, GP registrars, and other healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the practice.
QOF, Enhanced Services and Initiatives
* Contribute to maintaining our CQC and QOF achievements, as well as full participation in Enhanced Services and other key initiatives.
Partnership Responsibilities
* Collaborate with fellow partners to ensure the financial and operational sustainability of the practice.
* Contribute to CQC compliance, governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Professional Development
* Maintain GMC registration and revalidation.
* Participate in CPD activities and clinical audits to ensure ongoing professional growth.
* Contribute to the development and mentorship of the wider clinical team.

Person Specification
Experience
* Demonstrable experience in a general practice setting, including telephone triage and chronic disease management.
* A commitment to leadership, teamwork and practice innovation.
* Additional specialist interests or skills to enhance practice services (e.g., minor surgery, dermatology, family planning).
* Business acumen and understanding of NHS funding, contracts, and operational management.
Qualifications
* Full GMC registration and inclusion on the NHS England GP Performers List.
* Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) or equivalent.
