Project Manager – Packaging (Medical Device)
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Type: Long-term Contract
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with packaging expertise to join our client, a leading medical device company in Dublin. This is a long-term contract role, ideal for a highly motivated professional with a proven track record in managing packaging-related projects within regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end packaging projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory standards.
Packaging Development: Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of packaging solutions for medical devices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all packaging solutions meet relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 11607, FDA standards).
Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions proactively.
Budget and Timeline Management: Track project budgets, maintain schedules, and deliver milestones on time and within scope.
Vendor Management: Liaise with external suppliers and vendors to source and manage packaging materials and services.
Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and process improvements in packaging methodologies and materials.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in packaging, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of packaging materials, design processes, and validation protocols.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, packaging science, project management, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
