STADA UK Thornton & Ross – Marketing Apprentice
Location: Huddersfield | U.K. | Full-time | Fixed-Term 24 Months
The role of a Marketing Apprentice is intended to be a starting point for a career progression into Brand Marketing and Product Management. The apprentice will assist the day-to-day activities of the Consumer Health Care Marketing team, gaining exposure to commercial and marketing aspects of our consumer and pharmacy brands. The Marketing Apprentice will gain hands-on experience in marketing strategies, digital marketing, content creation, and market research. This role is designed for individuals looking to develop their skills in a dynamic marketing environment. The overall task is to assist the team to ensure key brand and wider business objectives are met, and to be an effective liaison between internal and external stakeholders including external customers, suppliers, advertising/PR agencies, and international affiliates.
How You Will Make an Impact
On a day-to-day basis your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the daily requirements of the brand portfolio, agency liaison, A&P budget planning and monitoring, preparation of brand updates, and supporting the creation and distribution of marketing materials.
* Supporting by raising Purchase Orders (POs), tracking spend, receipting POs, ensuring invoices are paid smoothly, and liaising with the finance team.
* Updating price trackers for core derma brands from all affiliates and monitoring to keep up to date.
* Managing all required documents to ensure a project runs on time and efficiently.
* Managing the production, distribution, and maintenance of digital and offline marketing materials.
* Supporting the approval of marketing materials to ensure compliance with the ABPI code of conduct.
* Planning and delivering tactical integrated marketing campaigns against SMART objectives.
* Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers (including agencies), and partner organizations.
* Evaluating market research and data to understand target audience behaviour to shape marketing plans.
* Organizing and attending internal and external events such as conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and webinars.
* Analysing activity outcomes to assess return on investment.
What We Are Looking For
* Educated to a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
* Working towards a Marketing qualification.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage various stakeholders in person, by phone, chat messaging, and email.
* Basic understanding of product marketing and communications.
* Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Attention to detail and creativity.
* Good IT skills with a proven ability to use Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
