What a day in your new role will look like Building Maintenance – Oversee all facilities-related activities across our 8 Pax8 EMEA office locations, including addressing complex issues escalated from the Office Coordinator team and monitoring performance through ServiceNow ticket completion. You’ll be the primary point of contact for all contractors, managing relationships with key service providers. Leverage your technical knowledge to ensure compliance with regulations and Pax8's expectations for health, security, and energy efficiency, while holding contractors accountable for successful service delivery. Control Measures – Develop and implement data-driven processes for maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs to ensure the continued smooth operation of all EMEA facilities. You’ll take ownership of health and safety procedures, including fire and first aid response, security control measures, and conducting audits as required. Space Utilisation – Lead the creation, collaboration, and implementation of plans, processes, and procedures that drive and enable the effective use of space and facilities in the EMEA offices. You’ll work closely with Office Coordinators, Internal Events, Corporate Communications, Employee Resource Groups, and local leadership to enhance the impact of office attendance. Global Coordination and Local Execution – Oversee all EMEA facilities-related projects and initiatives, supporting employee engagement and new office designs or office refreshes. In-depth knowledge of managing service contracts and vendor relationships. Advanced project management skills and experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comprehensive knowledge of building maintenance and operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems. Strong background in business economics and accounting principles. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to grasp complex ideas and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in English and other relevant languages depending on the market. Demonstrated skills in conflict management, with the ability to resolve issues effectively and maintain a positive work environment.
