Job Title: Interim Regional Head of Operations
Location: South East of England, UK
Salary & Job Type: £Excellent salary & £3k car allowance, Interim 6th month Contract, 37.5 hours

Scope of the Job
With the support, the Interim Peripatetic Regional Head of Operations will oversee the delivery of the highest levels of care, focus on continuous improvement and the implementation of best practice. Ensure the delivery of outstanding outcomes and provides strong leadership to the Service Managers and the wider teams. Will also support the delivery of strategic growth and change whilst ensuring service delivery to every person we support is exceptional. The role will ensure services are delivered in a way that puts people we support at the centre of their care and support, promoting rights, choice, dignity, diversity and value for money, meeting all organisational and statutory requirements and delivered in compliance with Care Quality Commission.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Support any of the regional operations within the South of England, spanning from Oxfordshire to Devon and across to Kent.
2. Provision of high quality, value for money services through the delivery of efficient commercial led practices.
3. Regularly review and act on performance data and KPI's to support decision making to continuously improve the services provided.
4. Where the service(s) are separately registered with CQC, apply successfully for registration as the Registered Manager and take responsibility for maintaining compliance with regulations.
5. Ensure services are delivered in accordance with appropriate risk assessments, complying with regulatory, statutory and contractual requirements.
6. Ensure all services adhere to the overall organisational strategy and inform future planning.
7. Ensure the delivery of the region's strategic business plan is consistent with local demands and priorities.
8. Be accountable for the monitoring, assessment and reporting of the quality of the services provided.
9. Ensure audit recommendations are monitored, reviewed and implemented.
10. Ensure complaints are acted upon and actions are monitored, evaluated and implemented.
11. Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, statutory requirements and local authority protocols.
12. Be accountable for safe working practices ensuring the availability of appropriate equipment and resources.
13. Evaluate accident and incident reports to identify trends with action as appropriate.
14. Ensure the proper application of SeeAbility policies and standards.
You will work with the current Regional Heads of Operations in this unique opportunity to drive service development in order to promote independence, choice and control as well as the achievement of individual goals, however small or large. Knowledge & Qualifications
1. QCF Level 5 - Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
2. Demonstrable understanding and knowledge of the requirements of working in Health & Social Care.
3. Understanding of the requirements of the Care Quality Commission.
4. A full, UK driving license.
Experience
1. Senior management level experience within the social care sector.
2. Experience of effectively managing change and delivering service improvements.
3. Experience of collaborating with local Authorities, Commissioners, families and circles of support.
4. Experience of working with people with learning disabilities.
5. Exemplary leadership that develops high performing teams through a coaching and collaborative approach.
6. Effective budget and resource management skills.
