This exciting and varied role involves managing a range of complex marine and interior outfit projects from commercial handover through to on-site delivery and project close down.
The successful candidate will collaborate across departmental functions to ensure project objectives are met and will lead smaller projects as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead project delivery on-site in conjunction with the relevant Project Manager.
2. Understand project scope and take ownership of allocated tasks or projects.
3. Plan and work with stakeholders on procurement of materials, supply chain, and resources with Head of Projects' approval.
4. Assist the Project Manager in project meetings from start to close down, including regular and ad-hoc site meetings.
5. Support the project team by providing input on estimated allowances for all project aspects.
6. Review labour and resource levels during project delivery and recommend necessary adjustments in collaboration with the Project Manager.
7. Ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to on-site, including issuing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and company-branded workwear.
8. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client requirements.
9. Complete any other ad-hoc tasks as directed by the line manager.
Job Requirements:
1. Knowledge of marine sectors including Cruise, Ferry, Defence, and Superyacht.
2. Understanding of outfit environments encompassing all disciplines.
3. Understanding of outfit planning and delivery onboard marine vessels.
4. Proficient in using Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, and Project.
5. Strong planning, time management, and prioritisation skills.
6. Effective communication skills and the ability to influence others.
7. Results and detail-orientated approach to work delivery and output.
