Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position within our Equipment Loan Store. With significant investment in decontamination, now is an exciting time to join the team. The ideal candidate should be flexible, hardworking, and capable of handling high-demand services. Awareness of COSHH and manual handling is preferred.

* De-assemble contaminated equipment
* Load decontamination machines
* Steam clean equipment
* Decontaminate mattresses
* Re-assemble equipment
* Check decontaminated equipment for safety and readiness for re-issue

Responsibilities
* Maintain loan store equipment in good repair
* Decontaminate and clean returned equipment, logging each item
* Visually inspect equipment pre- and post-decontamination, arrange repairs as needed
* Ensure equipment leaves stores with safety notices and instructions
* Store decontamination materials securely
* Receive, check, and sign for incoming goods
* Assist with loading/unloading vehicles, following manual handling policies
* Maintain cleanliness and safety in warehouse and parking areas
* Move equipment and furniture as required, ensuring safety
* Identify and repair mechanical issues or arrange repairs
* Clean, check, and repair pressure-relieving equipment
* Decommission damaged equipment, keeping records
* Deliver, set up, and demonstrate loan equipment, instructing users
* Assist with decommissioning and disposal of scrap
* Work on a rota basis, with key holder responsibilities
* Perform other duties as required
* Participate in appraisals, align personal and organizational goals
* Ensure health and safety compliance, identify and mitigate risks
