Join Our Team as a People Partner on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract working remotely - (travel will be required to our Birmingham office in Livery Place when needed)

Salary: £39,000
Contract: 6 months Fixed Term Contract.
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours Monday - Friday.
Location - Remote (Home working with the flexibility to travel as required to our Birmingham Office).
This role is homebased, some travel will be required. Our successful candidate will work within our wonderful People Team. You will be a trusted People Partner within our People team. We are specifically looking for a candidate who has strong Employee Relations Experience as this role will focus strongly in this area.
What you'll be doing as our People Partner:
* Employee Relations Expertise: Coach and develop managers in absence management, manage ER cases, and ensure policy rigour.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on employment law, collaborate on policy changes, and create ER documentation to aid managers.
* Manager Development: Upskill and coach managers in HR areas through various training formats and coaching sessions.
* Business Partnering: Develop good relationships with stakeholders, share best practices, and ensure seamless HR services.
* Management Reporting: Collaborate on metrics reports, utilise HR data for improvements, and address employee queries promptly.
To be our People Partner you'll need:
* Working knowledge of employment law and its practical application in workplace situations. Excellent communication skills, presenting and influencing, the ability to quickly establish credible relationships.
* Significant experience of managing Employee Relations cases.
* The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise one’s own workload.
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build robust relationships with various stakeholders.
* Confidence and be competent in coaching and upskilling managers in all people related matters, policies and processes.
