N1065 - CYPF Support Officer Role Profile
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to support the Business Support Team within the Children, Young People and Families Service (CYPF).
Minimum Requirements:
1. GCSE’s A*- C (9-4) or equivalent in English and Maths
2. NVQ3 or equivalent qualification or experience in business support
3. A willingness to undertake appropriate learning and development as required
Desirable Qualifications/Knowledge:
1. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages
2. Experience of working in a clerical or administrative environment
3. Experience of minute/note taking
4. Experience of working in a team
5. Customer Care qualification/training
6. Working knowledge of financial systems, budget monitoring, preparation and financial reporting
In your role as a CYPF Support Officer you will be engaging with a variety of people on a daily basis; from members of the public to Social Workers and Service managers, as well as other professionals from other agencies. This role will be supporting all of the administration around our Fostering Panel and therefore you will be working closely with our Independent Panel Members and our Panel Advisor. Duties of this role include minute taking, preparing agendas and reports, booking in meetings and professional attendance, keeping accurate records, maintaining electronic filing systems and collating information.
This role will be a combination of office-based working and home working but isn't shareable.
