We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior EHS Advisor to join Suir Engineering Ltd. This position will be on an Energy Power & Renewable Project based in Burnley with travel involved.

What you will be doing?
1. Assist the EHS Manager in achieving Suir's Critical Success Factor 1: 'To ensure full compliance with all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation.'
2. Collaborate effectively with the Project Manager and Construction Team to implement the Integrated Management System.
3. Ensure the site is properly set up with a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.
4. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all of Suir's High-Risk Activities (HRA's) and ensure they are identified and controlled on site.
5. Assist in developing Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
6. Support the development of SOPs and provide training and communication to site personnel.
7. Familiarize yourself with and promote the 'Suir Way' and its interface with Health & Safety.
8. Report and investigate incidents, ensuring root causes are identified, mitigated, and communicated.

* Relevant Health and Safety Diploma / Degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience in an Environmental Health and Safety role.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize workload according to deadlines with high attention to detail.
