Teacher of Geography
Start Date: September 2024
Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £30,000 – £46,525 per annum
Are you an aspiring Teacher of Geography who’s interested working for a reputable Multi Academy Trust in Willoughby, starting ASAP or Septemeber 2024.
GSL Education’s Hull's branch is working with a client secondary school in Willoughby, to appoint a Geography Teacher for September 2024. This position is open for both Fully Qualified, Instructors and Early Career Teachers. The potential applicant is expected to contribute to creating a positive learning environment to enhance effective learning.

Teacher of Geography duties:
* Plan and deliver Key Stage 3 and GCSE Geography lessons. (A-level is a bonus)
* Scaffold and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
* Support and enthuse learners to reach their full potential.
* Work with teachers across the Humanities department to ensure progress is made.
* To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
* To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
Teacher of Geography requirements:
* Have Qualified Status Teacher (QTS) through a PGCE in Secondary Geography, with QTS or equivalent.
* Experience teaching GCSE Geography within the last 2 years; A-Level experience is desirable but not essential.
* Be able to provide relevant references from within the last 2 years. Placements for ECTs will be accepted.
* Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply a for a new one through GSL Education. DBS sponsorship is available for this position.
