You’ll start with a thoroughinduction - then you'll be providing our customersa friendly totally dedicated delivery service of foodorders taking care to resolve any issues along the way. It'sa vital role, and it can be hard work, but a KFF Foodservice Drivermakes it look easy!
You'll need to payattention for accurately picking on vehicle and delivery ofcustomer orders and maintaining product temperatures in amulti-temperature controlled vehicle. You'll need awarenessof Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) compliance to ensure yourvehicle checks are completed to a high standard to ensureroadworthiness. The role includes manual handling of our foodproduce to the customers premises so you will need to comply withHealth and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other relatedlegislation.
You'll require a full driverslicence and extensive road knowledge of our local area. Asour 7.5T van driver you'll use your strong communication andteamwork skills, knowledge and initiative to solve basic problemsand make routine decisions. If you have the ambition tobecome a HGV2 driver in the future we'd be happy to support youthrough our driver developmentprogramme.
