Having recently had our Ofsted School Inspection (Feb 25) our school’s development journey has been recognised and validated. We have a very clear and exciting vision about what we need to achieve for our children, so everybody’s high aspirations can be fulfilled. As the inspecting team said ’Kingsholm is a school who welcomes and accepts everyone regardless of background’ - everyone really does matter here. If you would like to be part of our inclusive culture and help shape the future of our school and community, we would be delighted to hear from you.
We are seeking an Inclusion Assistant Headteacher (IAHT) who will be the school’s ‘Inclusion Champion’ and will work with a variety of teams and colleagues to recognise and address the barriers and vulnerabilities of our children and community. Inclusion is not limited to SEND. Our Inclusion Champion will also strategically address the needs of EAL, GRT and PP children.
The lead will take responsibility for the day-to-day implementation of the school’s Inclusion policies and practices in support of the Deputy Headteacher/Headteacher and will work strategically with them and the governing body to develop provision and practice across the school and Nursery.
