Job overview
To work with the Ophthalmology team, undertaking delegated tasks with appropriate supervision from a Registered Practitioner. Contribute to delivering a high quality service for patients with eye disease and their families.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a 'can do attitude' to work in our busy Ophthalmology nursing team. Cross site working may be required.
This unique role is varied and will provide support for vital and essential care to the patient with visual concerns.
As a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker, we would be looking for an individual with Ophthalmology experience. You will be supported to complete NVQ 3 Level of Care and the Agored Certificate and Diploma in the Fundamentals of Ophthalmology.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
