Job: Health and Safety Manager

Salary: £40,000-£65,000 per annum
Company Overview
My client is a well-established civil engineering contractor based in Northwest London and are seeking a dedicated SHEQ Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role, reporting to the Managing and Operational Directors and involves oversight of health and safety aspects for sub-contractors engaged in company projects.
Key Responsibilities:
·Provide advice on health, safety, and welfare matters to ensure compliance with legal obligations.
·Prepare method statements and risk assessments.
·Attend site and client health and safety meetings as required.
·Represent the company at client health and safety meetings.
·Chair monthly internal health and safety management meetings.
·Ensure all employees are adequately trained and maintain the training matrix.
·Conduct company inductions and refresher courses.
·Carry out site audits and oversee sub-contractor safety management.
·Maintain company accreditations and support annual audits.
Candidate Profile:
This role is ideal for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the business.
