Position
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Specialist Physiotherapist Rehabilitation at Biggart Hospital.
What you will do:
1. You will have responsibility for delivering highly skilled physiotherapy to the patient group and being a proactive member of the Multidisciplinary team.
2. You will act as a senior clinical decision maker, leading complex care and discharge planning, and delivering rehabilitation to ensure patients are optimally rehabilitated and discharged effectively and efficiently.
3. You will support the development of less experienced and unregistered staff within the team.
4. You will be passionate about empowering patients to achieve their goals and to remain as independent and active as possible.
5. Contribution to the on-call physiotherapy service is a requirement of the post.
The team has an excellent reputation for our quality of service and commitment to professional development, post-graduate training. We offer an active in-service and appraisal programme and peer support by therapists with widespread clinical skills.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team.
2. You must have HCPC registration and membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is highly desirable.
3. You should have broad previous experience and an interest in community rehabilitation, frailty, and falls prevention.
Hours: Up to 37 per week
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership: UK Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
