Job summary
The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and thedevelopment, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting and monitoring of standards.
The post holder will be expected to carry out all relevant forms of care and will be designated to take charge of the ward on a regular basis.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to support the team to deliver excellent patient care on ward 2.
You will be required to confidently support your team and sharing your ideas to improve the care of patients. You will focus on engaging with colleagues and developing our service. Ward 2 is a 20 bedded Cardiology and general medicine ward.
The successful candidate will be caring for patients with a wide range of medical conditions and will be supported in gaining new knowledge around cardiac conditions. the successful candidate will be encouraged to contribute to the continuous development of the ward and advancement in patient-centred care, as well as keen to progress in their knowledge and skills.
About us
The staff member will need to assess basic and specialist care needs of patients and implement without direct supervision. The nurse should always act in such a manner as to justify public trust and confidence to safeguard the interest of individual patients
