About the role:
As a Fencing labourer you will be assisting the Lead Fencer in carrying out the construction, repair, and maintenance of various types of fences and gates, such as wood, metal, and chain link. Your tasks include measuring and marking fence lines, digging postholes, assembling and installing fence sections, and using a variety of hand and power tools. You will also assist in preparing sites for installation, clear debris, ensure the ground is level, and clean up after the job is done. This is a physically demanding role and requires working outdoors in different weather conditions and adhering to safety protocols.
Key Criteria:
* UK full driving licence is essential.
* Willing to work in all weather conditions.
* Previous experience in a fencing role.
* Knowledge and experience in social housing is advantageous.
* Good communication skills.
