Conveyancing Administrator
Location: Northampton (NN1)
Type: Permanent Full time or Part time
Salary: £25,000
Do you have previous experience providing administration support in a legal office? Would you like to join a well-established law firm that recognizes talent and will help you grow? If so, this role could be ideal for you!
Working within this well-established legal firm, you will support the fee earners within the Conveyancing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Support fee earners and report to the Head of Department in an open-plan area with other members of the Residential Property team.
* Administer all post-completion procedures, including Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns submissions.
* Ensure compliance with mortgage lender post-completion requirements.
* Notify clients and/or lenders of completion registration and send relevant documents.
* Handle telephone calls as deemed necessary.
* File, store, and retrieve client papers and files in accordance with firm policies.
Skills and Experience Required
* Previous experience and understanding of the post-completion process.
* Accuracy and attention to detail with proficient literacy and numeracy skills.
* Strong organization and time management skills, with a professional telephone manner.
* Good IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
