Established in 2004, the Trust focuses on community development, environmental protection, and economic sustainability by managing and distributing funds from local green energy projects. Their vision emphasises engaging with the community on issues that matter most, supporting initiatives that prevent poverty, advance education, and promote heritage, all while fostering recreational opportunities and environmental stewardship.
The role
The Chief Executive of Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust will lead and manage the organisation's operations, ensuring financial sustainability while fostering relationships with community members, stakeholders, and funders. Key responsibilities include overseeing staff, developing long-term financial strategies, ensuring effective project management, and maintaining governance standards. The role also involves spearheading community projects, securing external funding, and promoting the Trust's mission to enhance the quality of life for residents in the Stratherrick and Foyers communities.
