Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with the warehouse and management teams to ensure accurate loading of goods
* Drive a Luton van or similar, delivering valuable and often delicate Fine Art objects
* Conduct deliveries efficiently and on schedule
* Handle heavy lifting when loading and unloading goods
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle
Experience/Requirements
* Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential
* Experience in the Fine Art or Removals industry is beneficial, particularly in handling valuable and/or delicate items
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
* Familiarity with local routes and navigation apps
* Comfortable driving long distances across the UK, with overnight stays sometimes required
* Able to work well as part of a team and form a cohesive partnership with Co-Drivers
* Ability to handle physical work including heavy lifting
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
* Willingness to assist in other areas of the business (e.g., packing and logistics) when not out on the road
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
