We have an exciting opportunity to join NG Bailey as a Mechanically biased Project Manager working on a large project at Airedale Hospital Ward Refurbishment. Our scope of work includes the removal and reinstatement of MEP services to facilitate the installation of structural remedial work. In this role, you will control the overall operational delivery of the project, taking into account the safety, technical, commercial, and managerial requirements from bid and pre-commencement through to successful practical completion.
Some of the key deliverables in this role include:
* Participate in bid activities to ensure a professional, profitable, successful bid which meets customer expectations.
* Manage pre-commencement activities in conjunction with the Pre-construction Manager.
* Maximise opportunities, efficiency, and profitability in the delivery phase of the project.
* Ensure precise provision of customer requirements by effectively reviewing the scope of works and installation methods.
* Lead the team, including specialist sub-contractors, through all stages of the project through to successful completion.
* Lead contract reviews, including preparation and submission of reports and any project-related data.
* Develop and maintain positive long-term customer relationships.
What we are looking for:
We are open to seeing Project Managers or Senior Project Engineers with a mechanical bias that have experience on large projects in a MEP or construction environment. Other key experience we are looking for includes:
* Industry recognised qualification and/or apprenticeship in a relevant discipline.
* Relevant Project Management and Safety Management qualifications.
