Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the crating production team and workshop operations.
* Oversee internal and external client relationships with strong communication and customer service skills.
* Handle the safe packing and transportation of fine art, museum objects, and high-value items.
* Ensure museum-standard crate construction, including interior fitouts.
* Manage cost estimations, budgeting, and expenses efficiently.
* Supervise artwork handling, packing, and installation processes.
* Maintain high standards of quality control and health & safety compliance.
* Train and develop team members, ensuring best practices in handling and packing.
* Collaborate with galleries, museums, and institutions to meet client expectations.
* Ensure attention to detail in all crate production and packing activities.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in fine art crating and leading a team.
* Proven expertise in museum-standard crate construction, packing, and interior fitouts.
* Strong ability to estimate costs, manage budgets, and oversee project expenses.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Physically fit and capable of handling all aspects of the role.
* Must have a clear police record for visa and relocation purposes.
