About Adecyn Homes: We are a family-orientated company looking to recruit a Senior Residential Care Practitioner for our therapeutic home in Sedgley, West Midlands. We initially started off as foster carers in 2004 and, during a decade of fostering, we have seen faults in the existing care system where the wellbeing of children and young people was not prioritised.
We also have homes located in Wolverhampton, Dudley, and Birmingham and are currently recruiting for experienced Senior Residential Care Practitioners.
Salary: Between £27,560.00 - £30,160.00 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications, excluding sleep-in rate at £60.
Working Hours: Shift work including long days, early, late, and sleep shifts (£60).
About the Role:
* Ensure shifts are planned with Residential Care Practitioners, to take the lead on shift and be responsible for the events on the shift.
* Ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with company policies and procedures.
* Communicate effectively with the team of staff coming onto shift, ensuring a thorough account of your shift's events has taken place.
* Be the case holder for designated children while supporting the allocated Key Worker.
* Provide written reports and documentation that reflect the progress of the adolescent for planning meetings/reviews.
* Set up, coordinate, and review children's files, care plans, risk assessments, behaviour management plans, health care documentation, missing from home documentation, physical description documents, agreements, and incentives.
* Contribute to educational meetings.
* Responsible for the health and safety of all children, staff, and visitors on your shift, ensuring any hazards are reported immediately in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
