Mission
As a BMS Field Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional BMS support to an assigned customer base. Your proactive approach and dedication to nurturing strong customer relationships will be essential in driving service digital transformation and upholding our company values.
Key responsibilities:
1. Adhere to Schneider Electric policies and guidelines to ensure safe and responsible work practices, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe behaviour.
2. Take full ownership of your customer base, striving to meet and exceed our contractual requirements.
3. Deliver best-in-class service, actively engaging with customers to identify and resolve operational issues.
4. Generate clear and concise service reports that underscore the value of Schneider Electric's solutions.
5. Proactively identify and propose solutions for system improvements, upgrades, or repairs.
6. Identify energy and enhancement projects, offering mutually beneficial suggestions and opportunities.
7. Provide guidance and support to Operations Managers and Sales on larger opportunities.
8. Participate in the team call-out rota and extend support to other team members whenever necessary.
Essential Skills:
1. Electrical background and substantial experience in the BMS and/or HVAC industry.
2. Proven track record in a Field Service environment with a customer-centric approach.
3. Eagerness to learn about Schneider Electric's product range and offerings.
4. Positive attitude, constructive approach, and strong communication skills.
5. Fluency in written and verbal English; possession of a full driving license.
Desirable Skills:
1. Experience with any of these systems: Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, Andover Controls Infinity/Continuum, TAC Vista, Tridium Niagara AX/N4, Trend 963/IQ Vision, Siemens Desigo/CC, Johnson Controls Metasys, Delta, Distech, ISMA.
2. Proficient in IT.
Education:
1. Electrical certification.
2. BMS/HVAC expertise.
3. Networking and SQL knowledge.
