Our charity shops play a crucial role in raising funds to help us deliver care and to support local people. We are now seeking a proactive and motivated Shop Manager to lead our brand new Superstore. As the Superstore Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving the success of our Hanley shop. Leading by example, you’ll oversee daily operations, working closely with a dedicated Deputy Manager and a team of staff and volunteers to create a positive and welcoming shopping experience. This role requires strong leadership, a flexible approach, excellent customer service skills and a can-do attitude to inspire and develop your team. Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and support your Deputy Manager, Section Supervisors, Shop Assistants and volunteers to meet sales targets Implement visual merchandising and promotional activities to attract customers Oversee sorting, pricing, and displaying donations to maximise shop appeal Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently Ensure high standards of customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere About You We’re looking for someone with a passion for charity work and community engagement. You’ll bring excellent people skills, a proactive approach, and the flexibility to adapt to the daily challenges of a large charity shop environment.
