About the role
Availability Window:
1. Tue: 08:00 - 18:00
2. Fri: 10:00 - 22:00
3. Sat: 08:00 - 19:00
Contract: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Varies from day to day but are planned in advance.
You will be responsible for:
1. Recruiting and training the best people for your team, ensuring they have the capability to deliver above and beyond in their role by developing their operational and leadership skills.
2. Coaching your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about the products in your store, building its brand and providing customers with the right range, quality, and service to ensure they keep coming back.
3. Leading your team in driving trade activity, using your expertise to grow sales and maximize profit.
4. Building your managers' knowledge to deliver and sustain Store Change Plan and resource planned activities, ensuring that hours are worked when and where they would most benefit customers, and identifying and resolving root cause issues with sustainable solutions.
5. Ensuring the safety of your colleagues and that your store is always trading legally by coaching the team to use all security tools available to provide a safer place to work.
You will need:
1. To be a great communicator who shares knowledge, experience, and best practices, understanding the importance of collaboration to deliver results.
2. To be natural and welcoming with customers, putting them at the heart of whatever you do, and building strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
3. To use your energy and resilience to maintain momentum in challenging environments, owning decision-making for the store and acting quickly based on what is right for customers and colleagues.
4. To have the energy and drive to deliver beyond expectations, inspiring confidence in those around you.
5. To be aware of competitors and look for ways to build and deliver new initiatives to improve the store for customers.
