Our rota is very flexible and can be tailored to the candidate's preferred working times or clinical interests, both full and part time applicants are welcomed. Full time is 38 hours over 4 days a week finishing no later than 7pm. You would also need to take part in a 1:6 weekends rota 8:00am – 12:30pm. This role has no OOH.

At Mill House, you'll primarily care for cats and dogs, with the option to work with rabbits, tortoises, birds, and even hedgehogs if you're interested. Your work will be balanced between consults and theatre, focusing on routine cases, soft tissue surgeries, and any emergency cases. If orthopaedics is your passion, there’s plenty of room to develop those skills too.
We’re proud to collaborate with a local hedgehog charity, offering unique cases to broaden your expertise. Our practice features a supportive team of skilled nurses and a well-organized dispensary, easily accessible from our consult rooms to ensure a smooth workflow.
We’re looking for a client-focused vet who enjoys the variety of general clinical practice. While certificates aren't required, we encourage and fund further study for those eager to expand their knowledge.

As a busy first opinion practice, we handle a diverse caseload and offer referral services in internal medicine, laparoscopy, radiology, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, and acupuncture. We’re equipped to support oncology, surgical, diagnostic imaging, and medical services, providing plenty of opportunities to specialize according to your interests.
