Job responsibilities The post holder will provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for allocated patient caseload in relevant clinical setting. The post holder will provide support and clinical supervision to junior staff e.g. rotational band 5 occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants and OT students on clinical placements. The post holder will be an active member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in service developments, audits, and service reviews, as well as work collaboratively with other health and social care professionals in facilitating timely and safe discharges/preventing hospital admissions. The post holder will take an active part in continuous professional development and performance development reviews. The post holder will participate in seven day working rota. The post holder will deputise for Team Leader, in their absence.
