Role: Locum Pharmacy Assistant (Inpatient Dispensary) Banding: Band 3 Location: London Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Working Pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, including weekends, back-up on-call, and late duty commitments. Rate: £13 - £15 per hour About the role: The Pharmacy team at Pulse is looking seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 3 Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our inpatient dispensary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including labelling, dispensing, covering the hatch, and performing ward top-ups. Duties and Responsibilities: You will be labelling and dispensing medications within the inpatient dispensary. You will be managing the dispensary hatch. You will be performing ward top-ups and ensuring medication availability. You will be supporting the team with back-up on-call and late duty commitments Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Holds the NVQ Level 2 in pharmaceutical services. Previous experience in an acute hospital setting Experience working in a dispensary Proficiency in using CMM/JAC systems Excellent communication skills Prior NHS experience (desirable). Desirable: Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Ability to work under pressure.
