The package Up to £68,000 remuneration (inclusive of car allowance) Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Initially an office-based role but will then move to hybrid working, with two days per week WFH. Commission pre-design surveys, including topographical, utility traces, and site investigations. Review designs for constructability, cost-effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and aesthetic suitability. Distribute drawings and information to internal and external parties for pre-tender/pre-start meetings and build schedules. Oversee all pre-construction engineering activities, including remediation, earthworks, and road/sewer construction. Negotiate, procure, and coordinate utility contracts and street lighting to align with build programs and budgets. Liaise with local authorities and NHBC to discharge development conditions and secure necessary approvals and adoptions. The person MEng, BEng or HNC in Civil Engineering ( essential ) Industry experience of working on residential housing estate developments ( essential ) Technical Coordinator or Architectural Technologist backgrounds considered providing you have managed and ran your own schemes Strong communication skills Ability to manage own projects and multitask Ability to undertake feasibility and technical studies Flexible and willing to spend time in other offices and sites Ability and experience using AutoCAD ( essential ) Full UK driving licence ( essential ) Previous experience of designing road and drainage schemes in accordance with S38, S278 and S104 agreements ( desirable ) ADZN1_UKTJ
