Job: Accountant
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Subsidiary Accountant to join a leading global technology company. This role sits within the Group Reporting team and plays a critical part in delivering high-quality financial information, ensuring compliance, and managing intercompany reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly accounting for multiple holding companies, including journal processing, purchase orders, reconciliations, rolling forecasts, and budget preparation.
Ensuring compliance with statutory and internal reporting requirements, including liaison with auditors.
Managing inter-company recharges and reconciliation processes.
Supporting tax reporting, including preparation of reporting packs and VAT returns.
Lease accounting and reporting under US GAAP.
Ensuring adherence to financial controls and procedures, including SOX compliance.Essential Experience & Skills:
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with experience in financial accounting within a medium to large organization or practice.
Strong team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.
Ability to analyze and improve existing processes.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
