Role - Associate Electrical Engineer (Building Services)
Location - Belfast
Salary - £55k - £70k (DOE)
Overview
We are representing a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 45 years of industry experience. Employing a team of 40-50 staff, including specialists in MEP, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, and Sustainability (BREEAM, Building Physics), they offer a collaborative and diverse project environment. The MEP team, consisting of 15-20 professionals, is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to join their growing team.
You'll be working on a broad range of projects, including urban regeneration, healthcare, leisure, and student accommodations, and managing both legacy and newly acquired clients.
Role
As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you'll independently lead projects, working closely with Quantity Surveying and Building Surveying teams to deliver across sectors such as public health, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. You'll guide junior engineers, oversee technical quality, and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements
An Electrical Engineering Degree or Building services Related (Essential).
CIBSE Chartership (Ideal)
Significant experience in Building Services project management
Ability to running projects autonomously
Maintaining and developing business relationships.
Have a knowledge of Revit MEP, AutoCAD, DIALux, Amtech, Navisworks (preference)
Knowledge of CIBSE guidelines.
