Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker (LD)
Location: Bolton, Manchester
Salary: Up to £31,046 per annum
Type of Job: Full time and permanent
Senior Residential Support Worker Requirements
* Possession of a Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent
* Min of 2 years’ experience in working with Children and Young People that have social and emotional difficulties or behaviour that challenges, with supervisory experience
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence
* Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight
Senior Residential Support Responsibilities
* Ensuring that the Young People receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs.
* Providing advice, assistance, and support to Young People, always safeguarding their welfare.
* Ensuring that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures.
* Planning shifts with Residential Support Workers, to take the lead on shift and be responsible for the events on the shift.
* Attending to Young Peoples practical, physical, and emotional needs and acting as an appropriate role model.
* Working closely with Young People to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential.
* Communicating effectively with the team of staff coming onto shift ensuring that a thorough account of your shifts events has taken place.
Senior Residential Support Worker Rewards
* Salary £31,046 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
