A leading manufacturing company is seeking to recruit a Sales Administrator to work within their Sales Team. The company prides itself on its innovative approach to product design and manufacturing, along with an excellent reputation for high-quality customer service. The working pattern for this role is 08:30 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday, with an hour's lunch break. However, this can be flexible, and hybrid working can be offered when required.
Your new role
As a Sales Administrator, you will be expected to support the wider sales and office team by receiving and processing customer orders. You will liaise with different departments and suppliers to ensure dispatches are correct and on time. You will work closely with colleagues, offering help and support with all administrative tasks, including:
1. Providing customers with documentation requested
2. Updating the system with customer information
3. Responding to customer enquiries
4. Raising customer orders and sending customer order acknowledgements
5. Raising customer trials & making samples
6. Raising customer complaints and consulting with the Sales Team
7. Communicating courteously over the telephone and via e-mail with customers
8. Attending training required to further develop skills and knowledge
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a pleasant, friendly tone over the phone to clients and customers. Overall, you should have a good team work ethic. You must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively, as well as a good understanding of technical and IT skills, particularly regarding database management and spreadsheets, while also possessing an eye for attention to detail.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a competitive annual salary from £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience and will be joining a successful growing business during an exciting period.
