We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant with a minimum of 18 months of experience working with management accounts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in prepayments and accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and have a solid understanding of the accounting function.Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and process prepayments and accruals.
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assist in the preparation of management accounts and associated reporting.
* Enter journals on the General Ledger and maintain it.
* Produce daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
* Support month-end duties and ensure timely closure of accounts.
* Assist with coding and inputting Accounts Payable invoices.
* Check bank reconciliations and manage month-end Accounts Receivable processes.
* Take responsibility for key tasks within the accounts department.
* Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Person Specification:
* Minimum of 18 months experience in management accounts.
* Excellent attention to detail and numeracy with the ability to be efficient and accurate.
* Good communication skills at all levels.
* Computer literate with a good knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
* A highly organised and focused working style.
* Exposure to and understanding of prepayments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
