Requirements:
- As an ideal candidate, I am seeking someone with strong hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Engineering. You should have expertise in Infrastructure as Code, with a preference for Terraform. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, or OpenShift is essential. A strong understanding of AWS security best practices, along with experience in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, is necessary. Additionally, I value Agile/Scrum experience and a collaborative mindset. It is essential that you have an active Security Clearance.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, I will expect you to be instrumental in designing complex multi-tenant systems aligned with AWS best practices. You will build, test, package, deploy, and operate AWS landing zones. Automating AWS services and Cloud Platforms using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, is key. You will package services into AMIs, Docker containers, or Serverless deployments and champion modular and structured IaC, driving best practices in automation. Additionally, designing cloud-native solutions using containers and microservices, utilizing CI/CD deployment techniques to enable zero downtime, and administering Kubernetes clusters will be part of your responsibilities. You'll enhance security within AWS and contribute to a mature Cloud Security Model while working within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver cloud solutions efficiently. Deploying and managing large-scale cloud infrastructure, including Backstage, will also be required.
