JOB TITLE: Food & Beverage Manager
LOCATION: Near Truro
SALARY: £35,000 - £39,000 DOE
One of our clients, a reputable hotel establishment, is in search of a dynamic and skilled Food & Beverage Manager to supervise the food and beverage services.
The ideal candidate should have a robust foundation in hospitality, culinary arts, and restaurant administration, coupled with a dedication to providing top-notch service within a hotel setting. The position necessitates strong leadership abilities to efficiently oversee the staff and guarantee adherence to food safety guidelines.
The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the operations of both hotel restaurants. Candidates should have prior experience managing similar-sized establishments in high-end settings and possess hands-on experience. Someone who can lead by example and motivate team members, as well as be enthusiastic about mentoring and training. Qualifications & Experience
1. Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably within a hotel or restaurant setting.
2. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and bartending practices.
3. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
4. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the industry.
5. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery across the hotel.
6. Monitor financial performance of the food and beverage department, preparing reports for management review.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
8. Good business awareness for achieving successful performance with the ability to work independently and make decisions confidently.
