Finance Manager | Chester | £40-50,000 (more if qualified) An opportunity to join a growing SME in business services in Chester as their new Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified, or newly qualified accountant who is looking to progress their career. The Role This role will take ownership of the management accounts for their business. This includes weekly profit and loss reporting, managing the month end processes, and reconciliations of the management accounts. Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities will include: Production of the management accounts Provide variance analysis Effective business partnering with key stakeholders, to aid management advice and effective budget management Prepare balance sheet reconciliations Entries coded and assigned to the correct cost center Support the introduction of purchase orders for suppliers Ensure a robust purchase to pay, accounts receivable and payments processes Support the finance management team and wider business, ensuring robust financial systems and processes Ensure that reporting provided to the business unit team is timely & accurate Produce value-added analysis to support continued growth across the organisation About You: QBE, CIMA/ACCA/ACA part qualified or newly qualified Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
