Electrical Engineer required for a permanent position with a Suffolk-based engineering company. This varied role involves travel mainly around East Anglia (with only occasional nights away - company vehicle provided) assisting with final stages of installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical control systems at food and beverage manufacturing sites. Occasional electrical maintenance is also required. Basic 40-hour week with regular overtime.
Duties will include:
1. Conduct commissioning activities for electrical and control systems, including testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
2. Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful system integration and functionality.
3. Develop and execute commissioning plans and procedures.
4. Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues.
5. Provide technical support during the installation and startup phases of projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must have a recognised BTEC / C&G / NVQ 3 / ONC / HNC electrical qualification or equivalent, an in-depth understanding of electrical drawings and systems, and previous electrical commissioning, installation, or maintenance experience of control systems within manufacturing/production.
