Based in Cwmbran, we are looking for an Trainee Service/Install Engineer to join our expanding team.
As a Trainee Service/Install Engineer, you will initially work from our Cwmbran office as well as travelling with one of our experienced engineers throughout the country helping to install and maintain our range of Solar Powered Temporary Site Security Systems. Full training will be given as this role is expected to lead to qualification as a Service/Install Engineer in the future working on your own with your own company vehicle.
Key Tasks to Include:
* Providing any support needed by our mobile and site-based Engineers setting up our rapid deployment CCTV Towers and security systems.
* Configuration and set up of our rapid deployment systems prior to their installation.
* Service and upgrade of solar security towers and associated equipment as and when they are returned to the office after deployment.
* Assisting our engineers on site with installations and routine servicing.
* Undergoing in-house and external training on various equipment.
* Full compliance with all H&S requirements, including use of correct PPE at all times.
* Manufacturing and assembly of solar powered CCTV Towers.
* Installation of temporary security systems throughout the UK.
* Maintenance of temporary security systems throughout the UK.
* Programming and overall assembly of temporary security systems.
* Testing and maintaining products and components.

The Candidate:
* Experienced in Technology: Ability to use computers and technology.
* Technically Proficient: Ability to use tools and technology for service and installation. Previous experience with computers or CCTV would be an advantage.

* Solution Focused: Ability to identify and fix issues quickly and effectively.
* Team Player: Able to carry out tasks correctly and solve problems without supervision.

* Happy to Travel: Full clean driving license is essential for this role due to the progression path to site-based engineer.

* Base salary of £23.5k
