The maternity services at Hull University Teaching Hospitals are committed to upholding and maintaining the highest standards of evidence-based practice and working in partnership with women and their families.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic midwife to work within our award-winning maternity bereavement service.
Working alongside the Bereavement Lead Midwife, the post holder will assist with providing caring, compassionate and individualised care to bereaved families who have experienced late miscarriage, medical termination of pregnancy, stillbirth and neonatal death.
This will include assisting with the coordination and delivery of all aspects of Bereavement Service for families.
Additionally, they will support the team facilitating the Rainbow Support Service, caring for women who are pregnant following the loss of a baby.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

* Registered band 6 Midwife
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Midwifery
* Evidence of Continuing professional development
Knowledge and experience
* Experience of caring for bereaved families within any setting of the maternity or neonatal setting
* Evidence of Multi-disciplinary/agency working
* Knowledge of the public health agenda
* Working within a care environment
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
