* 1st and 2nd interview dates: 13th – 20th May
Scheme Outline:
Become part of an expanding commercial house building division working for one of the largest social housing and support services organisations in the South West.
As a graduate with a minimum of a 2:2 degree, you will be able to demonstrate the attributes we look for in all our colleagues: customer focused, enthusiasm, attention to detail, independence while also being team-oriented, excellent communication skills, and self-motivation with a balanced view of work and life.
Within Curo, you will embark on a two-year operationally led rotational programme supported by a comprehensive learning and development plan. You will spend time in each of our divisions actively taking part in projects throughout the house-building cycle.
Summary of the role:
You will undertake a graduate-level development programme spanning the main areas of commercial house building over a period of two years, preparing you to take on a future role within Curo on completion.
What will you need to commit to?
The programme will run for two years, and you must be prepared to work in different environments, ranging from office, client, sales office, and construction site.
You will need to attend all the development activities within the course, our corporate induction, mentoring, and coaching sessions. You will be required to take personal responsibility for your continuous personal development.
As a Curo colleague, you will be expected to attend quarterly Executive Briefings and colleague conferences, as well as other important parts of Curo Company Life.
You will be requested to provide constructive feedback on the programme and its content, as well as act as colleague support for any new graduates in future years.
Personal characteristics/qualifications:
You will need to be on target to achieve a 2:2 degree (or equivalent); ideally in a subject related to the construction industry, although passion to work for Curo and the house-building sector is more important to us.
We are an organisation run by leaders at all levels, be it Leaders of Self, Leaders of Others, or Leaders of the Organisation. As such we measure our colleagues’ behaviours and the way they deliver success through Best Companies surveys. As a new colleague, we would expect you to be able to demonstrate the capacity to live up to our high expectations – you will have the opportunity during your application to provide examples of how you may do this.
Other characteristics that we believe will make you a great fit for Curo Homes are:
* Passion for our plans within the construction industry
* High level of attention to detail and well-organised
* Creativity and innovation
* Disciplined approach to learning
* Programme/target orientation
* Independent but equally at home working in a team
* Good and broad communication skills
* Self-motivation and a self-starter
* A balanced approach to work and life
When completing the form, think carefully about how you can demonstrate your capability for this role to help us identify candidates who will really fit in and become part of our Curo family.
