Here at our Manchester Plant, we are currently looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Specialist to become the right hand of our Plant Finance Manager. In this role, you will take the lead to support the financial operations of your business by bringing a strong analytical mindset and a passion for accuracy. Your ability to proactively prioritize and manage multiple tasks end to end will be essential as you thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: - Perform actuals proofing, reconciliation, and root cause analysis vs. forecast. - Lead the submission of our quarterly financial forecast in line with annual target. - Ensure the Plant's quality & timely actuals month end-close processing. - Participate in governance and stewardship activities to maintain strong compliance with financial policies. - Improve data flow and information reliability across systems to support key business decisions. - Drive efficiency improvements in reporting tasks through automation and process simplification. - Collaborate closely with the site stakeholders as well as our local and regional multi-functional teams. Job Qualifications We are looking for: - Experience in financial analysis, budgeting and cost management - Excellent communication and people skills are essential. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and to meet challenges and deadlines with a pragmatic and resilient approach. - To be able to work equally well independently or as part of a larger team. - Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities. - Strong skills in Microsoft Excel. - Strong verbal and written English language skills. - Knowledge of financial systems and tools is a plus.
