Our client is a successful logistics company based in Dover. They are a global company specialising in fast and efficient logistics solutions across a wide range of industries. They are now looking to acquire the services of a customer-concentric professional as a Supply Chain Advisor, be fluent in either French or Italian, working Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working in a customer service environment where they were dealing and managing relationships with external suppliers, whilst monitoring their performance to ensure they are adhering to the operational requirements.Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and update the CRM system with suppliers notes and their performance metrics.
2. Able to conduct supplier assessments and evaluations ensuing they are adhering to the company’s standards.
3. Assist with the onboarding processes for new suppliers, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
4. Liaise with suppliers to address any non-conformances, such as discrepancies or areas that could be improved.
5. Keep track of supplier’s performances, through regular reviews.
