Monday - Sunday between 12:00 noon till midnight, 7 shifts on / 7 shifts off, 4 shifts on/4 shifts off or 3 shifts on/ 3 shifts off.

The International Nurse Coordinator provides a vital lifeline to travellers who are facing unexpected medical circumstances. Those circumstances are often emergencies, so to thrive in the role you must enjoy high levels of verbal and email interaction with customers and colleagues every day.
You should be able to demonstrate high levels of resilience and perseverance as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities, often within tight deadlines. Duties and responsibilities of the International Nurse Coordinator:
1. Liaise with patients, hospitals, and medical staff across the globe to ensure the correct and appropriate treatment is being given.
2. Assess when and how patients are fit to return home
3. Deal with all calls in confidence and in an empathetic manner
Experience and knowledge of the International Nurse Coordinator:
4. You must have a minimum of 5 years of post- registration experience
5. NMC registered
6. Recent experience in an A&E / ICU / acute medicine setting
7. Tenacious, enthusiastic, and motivated
8. Confidence to make clinically sound decisions about patient care as a case develops
9. Minimum 3-month office-based training period
10. Potential for hybrid home and office working
Salary and Benefits for the International Nurse Coordinator:
11. Shift allowance between 8pm and midnight along with weekend and Bank holiday enhancements.
