Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of biodiversity conservation strategies and initiatives.
Conduct ecological assessments and surveys to monitor local biodiversity and identify areas for improvement.
Engage with community stakeholders to raise awareness about biodiversity issues and promote conservation efforts.
Collaborate with local governments and organizations to align conservation goals with regional planning initiatives.
Secure funding and resources for biodiversity projects through grant writing and partnership development.
Prepare and present reports, proposals, and educational materials related to biodiversity conservation activities.
Track and analyze biodiversity data to measure the effectiveness of conservation actions and inform future decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Conservation Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Proven experience in biodiversity conservation or environmental management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of ecology, ecosystems, and species conservation principles.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and present information effectively.
Demonstrated project management skills and experience in leading conservation initiatives.
Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, fostering partnerships to further biodiversity goals.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with experience using relevant software and tools.

Pay Per Hour: £44.45
