Your time will be spent at HMP Garth and there may also be a requirement to work at HMP Wymott, a Category C prison on the same site. Salary This position is full time working 37.5 hours per week. You will Demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide ranging and complex patient problems Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team, This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including; mental health, and substance misuse practitioners You will act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times Supporting senior clinicians on site you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure; patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care. Qualifications required: Registered Nurse Adult Mental Health with current NMC or Registered Paramedic with current HCPC Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification MSc in Advanced Practice Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner following best practice guidance Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
